High Temperatures in Trinidad and Tobago

Posted by [email protected] on May. 17, 2024  /   1

Dear Colleagues

Trinidad and Tobago is experiencing higher than normal temperatures within recent times. This situation can have detrimental effects on the built environment (e.g. increased demand of HVAC systems and electricity usage) and its users/occupants. As Facility Managers we are charged with the responsibility of managing our built environment to ensure the comfort and productivity of its occupants and users, while providing efficient and seamless operations. Please share via our blog what measures you have been putting in place at your facility (in any) to manage the negative effects of the hot temperatures currently experienced.

We look forward to your feedback.

Great blog, at the TTCAA I have temporarily removed cooling for any unoccupied areas. I would like to know if anyone installed solar film at their facilities and if so, what was the result?
